What No One Has Told You About Chasing Your Dreams

There’s one thing I’ve learnt from all my “failures” in trying to reach for my dreams
This one thing is…
Give yourself room to grow
Yes, I wish someone had given me this advice earlier.
I know when you get inspired and have those big, beautiful dreams in your imagination you encounter two things, which are:
You try to achieve or build that dream in the fastest way
and
You feel overwhelmed whenever you encounter a setback
And sometimes you even think stuff like:
“is this dream too big?”
Well, this is completely normal especially if you’re a dreamer like me and that’s why you need to
Give yourself room to grow
I’m no plant, but I think it would be overwhelming even for plants to go from being a seed to bearing fruit in a day
When I say give yourself room to grow what I mean is break those dreams down into smaller parts that you can make happen every day
And I also mean
Start small…but start well
If you do every little thing you need well then, these small wins will add up to the fulfilment of your big dream which was overwhelming at first.
Another reason why you want to give yourself room to grow by starting small but well is…
Your brain needs wins to win more, and when you get a little win manifesting this big dream becomes more pleasurable.
Life is a game of momentum, so if you can stack up a few small wins the momentum is in your favour, and you’ll keep rising as your confidence improves.
So dear dreamer, have a big dream or vision but give yourself room to grow, give yourself room to start small and well.
